Marian Goldner 1923-2020

Parker Steel is grieving the recent passing of our matriarch, Marian Goldner.Marian was the loving wife of the Founding Father, the late Leo Goldner, for 76 years until his recent death in February of this year.She had four children, five grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren. She was an accomplished children’s book writer, community leader, world-class traveler, songwriter, joke teller, and philanthropist.Like the perfect ending to one of her books, Marian died in the comfort of two of her daughters’ loving arms in her home city of Aventura, Florida.

Parker Steel has been C-TPAT, Customs Trade Partnership Against Terrorism, certified since 2009.With all of the COVID-19 delays, we are ahead of the game. Our C-TPAT certification moves our material through the borders fast and securely under the strictest guidelines.As an added layer of protection for our staff and customers, all imports have been quarantined for 1 week before put to stock.

Staying Safe

We are happy to report we have not had a single case of COVID-19 throughout our entire company.With most of our sales staff and management working from home, taking temperatures, mask and hand washing protocols, and checking in on all of our employees regularly, we have managed to stay safe and healthy. We also implemented a touch-free time clock for our warehouse team.We will continue to work in this safe way for as long as necessary.We hope you and your family stay safe and healthy.
