Reaching New Heights
Parker Steel Continues to grow and expand. We have such high confidence in our growth that we continue to create new space to allow for that growth. With the help of our stellar purchasing team, our resourceful warehouse associates, and the confidence and generosity of our owner, Parker Steel spares no expense when it comes to making room for growth. Our recent Toledo warehouse expansion has nearly doubled our vertical racking capacity. We have spent the last several months diligently filling it with new material. This expansion also included conference and training rooms and several additional offices to continue to grow our staff at this location. Our goal at Parker Steel is to have all our offerings on the floor at all times to provide our customers with what they need without delay.If there are any items you need that we do not stock, please send your inquiries to sales@metricmetal.com.

Meet Christy

Christy Stroud has been in the Purchasing department at Parker Steel since 2007. Before coming to Parker Steel, Christy worked in the printing industry, working her way up from accounting to purchasing, when her skills as a shrewd negotiator came to light.Christy is always the first to offer her help, whether it is to assist in creating a report, figure out a complex excel formula, organize a potluck, or turn up the heat on one of our carriers when a mistake needs to be corrected. Her investigative questioning of all aspects of the company has led to some much-needed improvements in her department and beyond. As a purchasing agent, Christy is feisty, analyzing every angle to ensure we get the best deal possible.  Christy is well known for her bubbly personality and smiley, positive attitude. Christy cherishes her seven grandchildren, lake life, and many friends. Christy is hardworking, kind, and the type of person everyone can count on.Parker Steel is very lucky to have Christy on our team.
