• General Information

  • The weld bead is removed which allows another tube or another solid shape to slide inside the tube easily.
    Generally with standard square tubing, a combination of the weld bead and the tolerance will not guarantee two tubes to slide inside each other easily. The tolerance on both the standard and telescopic square tubes is a plus or minus tolerance, which varies based on the size of the tube. However, the telescopic tubing has the weld bead removed which allows the inside of the tube to be more precise and consistent throughout, thus allowing the tubes to be considered telescopic.
